Experience

Track record of Property & Facilities Management

Cyril has approximately 24 years experience of dealing with various aspects of property and project management. Initial experience on graduation was in Valuation of various residential and commercial properties for international banks in Africa. This was followed by a short spell of supervising construction works as a Lands Manager, followed by management of high-rise residential blocks in Lagos Metropolis.  Specific functions included appointing and supervising contractors, setting up service charge budgets and accounts, employing and managing various site staff & professional Consultants.  Thereafter, Cyril worked for 8yrs at top management with Bruntwood Limited (a commercial property investment company in the NW of UK with portfolio worth circa £1 billion). His various roles at the subject company during this period included, letting of space in Manchester city centre offices/retail outlets, asset management, acquisition and  development of commercial sites, and facilities management across the whole portfolio of around 100 commercial properties.  Thereafter, he was head hunted to establish at The Mansion Group various departments in the company. This included the Facilities Management, Project Management and Hospitality Management teams for the company to manage purpose-built student accommodation (just over 8000 beds) located across the country from Edinburgh to London. He successfully acquired and refurbished/develop new sites in excess of £200 and managed about 80 employees at the height of his activities there.

Management Competencies

A consummate professional, Cyril specializes in strategic management of portfolios, people management, establishing brand products or services, ensuring statutory compliance, leveraging limited resources for maximum gain. Cyril’s interview techniques have been better developed as an RICS Assessor of candidates applying for professional election for 8 years. He was also appointed as an Assessor of applicants for the premium grade of Fellows of the RICS.

Cyril management style, based on accumulated experience, is based on the premise that most properties are not unique but what differentiates a good company & brand from competitors is the service quality. Hence, customer loyalty and retention is ensured through a clear and consistent adoption of core values and style. He strives for continuous improvements of our products, processes and supply chains.
